The Anti aging skin clinic offers various advanced technology lasers
Carbon Dioxide Laser
A CO2 laser is capable of removing skin tissues with precision unsurpassed by conventional surgical techniques. Moles, age spots, and warts can be removed with minimal tissue damage and post-treatment discomfort.
Pigmented Lesion (Q-Switched Nd: YAG) Laser
Irregularities in skin pigmentation like tattoos, sun spots and age spots may not improve using traditional medical treatment. The Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser at the Skin Laser Center is ideal for the treatment of such problems. One treatment normally suffices for light brown or tan spots, while darker lesions and tattoos may require multiple sessions. The treatment takes just a few minutes and involves application of a pre-treatment numbing cream and a post-treatment antibiotic. After the treatment, the skin may be left with brown spots which will clear with time.
Laser Hair Removal – Diode Lasers
The diode laser is a state-of-the art system specially designed to remove unwanted hair faster, less painfully, and more reliably than electrolysis.
Light emitted by the diode laser is absorbed by the pigment (color) located in the hair follicle, disabling several follicles at a time to eliminate or significantly impede the hair’s growth. The laser tends to treat hair follicles that are in an active growth phase and therefore more than one treatment may be required to disable hair follicles that subsequently enter this growth phase. Laser treatment itself may cause a slight tingling sensation. Immediate after-effects may include redness and swelling, which disappear in a short time.
